What happens when your minister leaves? What if your pastor decides to retire? What if your priest transfers to another church?

Jesus left the apostles and they continued to preach the gospel like he had. Loved on the poor, fought against their flesh and lived for Christ and the Kingdom of God. A church is not a place, it is not one person leading others. A church is the entire body of souls living in a community and sharing the love of God with each other and spreading that love to the nations how ever God calls them to. That was the inspiring answer.
Now for a human to human response. I would be concerned about how that would affect the church and the circumstances it was under. Did God call them else where or did they fall of their pedestal? (Don’t answer that- this is just my thought process). I might not like who was chosen to be the new Pastor. I guess I would be left with one choice. I would pray as intensely as a mad man mumbles. I would pray more than I talked about it. I would pray for the pastor or priest leaving – regardless of why- I would pray for the church body and for any that were shaken up or lost hope- and than I would pray for God’s will of the church and helping everyone stay as a community.
I absolutely love questions like these. I love opening up and seeing others open up.
